Why did the good transformers chose to copy luxury vehicles?

During the time of war/conflict, the evil transformers wisely imitated the war machines but for the good ones they found sports cars and trucks more suitable for fighting and decided to call themselves autobots in the process. |||Save the world, in style. ^_~|||The vehicles they all transformed into (Autobots %26amp; Decepticons) reflect the differences in goals. The Autobots wanted to blend in with society of earth to move around discreetly. The Decepticons didnt give a care about their alter ego, all they want is the "Allspark", the way to new Cybertron. If you know anything about the "Transformers", they crash landed on Earth and had to blend in.
