I know that different people and different places have various scale sizes of transformers compared to earthly creatures or man made creations, but I would like to know a size chart regarding just the transformers to themselves, does this list even exist, does anyone have a link or picture or other info I could look at?
I'm only guessing his size at 25ft, i don't know, so whatever his actual height he is(or you want it to be), what are the other transformers compared to him.|||I myself have tried looking for Transformers size charts, especially for the G1 versions of the characters. I've found a few scale charts but only like one with definite heights of the characters. Personally I think that few characters have a consistent height considering Transformers has been around for over 20 years and has had many different continuities. Their height/weight and even scale really just depends on the writers and the artists. The only real size chart with heights I know of is one I found on the second Special Features DVD in Revenge of the Fallen. I've been looking at the new Transformers, Dark of the Moon. I would really like to see it. How To Make A Cute Transformers Halloween Costume, And Not Have To Wear Boxes?
My friends and i are planning on being transformers for halloween. We don't know how to make a cute costume!? We need help, were thinking about leggings, and a shirt, then adding one color, but were not sure! HELP!|||If you have the time, and perhaps the skill, I would say you should make a pattern for the costumes, and cut out the patterns using something like felt (in different colors) and sew them onto a shirt.
While you could make yourself a mask, it might be easier if you just bought yourself a mask that goes with whichever Transformer you wanted to be.
As for the leggings, you could also make patterns for the legs, and sew those on as well. It might be better, though, if you just bought some cheap pants of thin material, as I imagine it would be harder to design the leggings.
If you don't have an artistic and sewing side to you, then you might just want to buy costumes.

First, cut the bottom flaps off of a big cardboard box. Cut holes for your head and arms. You'll need an adult to help you with this part.
Cut off the flaps of the small box so one side is open. Then cut a large hole in any other side of the box except the top.
Tape the small box on top of the larger box so the hole in the box is in front. The small box will be your robot's head.
Decorate the body any way you want.

It has become a major hazardous waste disposal problem to get rid of the PCB's, some of which has been dumped into rivers and lakes. That is the ethical question alright. Why did they do it? Because it was cheap and nobody was looking.

You can't copy the DVD since it is copy protected. What happened in the ending credits of transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen?
So roughly thirty minutes ago i saw the ,midnight showing of transformers 2, but in an attempt to make it out of the theater before it became a madhouse i left missing the ending credits and the scenes accompanying them, other than that the question is

It seems this summer isn't coming out with many block busters. So far Transformers 2 seems like a slam dunk. The Dragon Ball would have been ok back in the 90's the way it looks. I don't know if this summer will do as well as the past 3 summers when it comes to movies. They should pushed Watchmen and the Wolverine movie back. What film are looking forward to more Transformers 2 or Terminator Salvation?
The last transformers wasn't amazing (it was too PG and not very serious), I don't expect the next one to be that great either. I only really watched it because of Shia Labeouf so I'm looking forward to Terminator, and Christian Bale never fails to impress.|||Definitely TERMINATOR!

If Micheal Bay made a Transformers 4, would it be a good movie, or something that you toss tomatoes at.|||Watching robots fight for 3 hours gets tiresome. How are they getting away with marketing Transformers 2 to little kids?
The new Transformers movie is rated PG13 last time I checked, and yet Nickelodeon has been marketing it during shows like Dora the Explorer and Spongebob. My son got a Transformers toy in his Burger King Kids meal as well.
How are they able to market this movie to such a broad range of children when arguably the kids who are viewing the ads really can't see the movie anyway?
Does this bother anyone else?|||Just because it's PG13 means nothing. It's just a guide line for parents. I saw nothing wrong with the movies. My 9 year old loved it. The kids can see the movies. I believe a parent has to be with them. At that age a parent should be with them anyways.

The thing is, transformers was originally an animated kids show, and then an animated movie, until the real life re-make where Shia La Boef and Megan Fox sex things up just a little too much, and use language that they probably shouldnt. Its all part of the Mega plan to get kids to whine to their parents to buy them everything. Power can be computed by multiplying the RMS voltage by the RMS current. So, if an ideal transformer has an input voltage of (say) 100 V and an output voltage of 200 V, the current coming out will be exactly half the current going in. A real transformer is not ideal but dissipates power owing to the finite resistance of its windings and other effects, so if a real transformer steps up voltage from 100 V to 200 V, its output current will be less than half its input current.

Does the Transformers Real Gear Robots Meantime digital wristwatch clock actually work?
I saw these real gear transformers at my local walgreens at about $3, saw the back of the box and I noticed there was a digital wristwatch transformers. Looked through that walgreens toy area and couldn't find it, though.

Whats the difference between regular power transformers and a battery charger?
I have a 'trickle' battery charger with an output of 1.5A, and I have a few other transformers from various older electronics. A low battery can very well pull more than 1.5A from the charger, but that is all it supplies, but a normal transformer may put out amperage over it's own rating and burn up. What makes a transformer capable of limiting its amperage output regardless of the circuit's ability to draw more?|||The limiting circuit built into it, and the isolation transformer it uses.
Google isolation transformer and current limit circuit for additional information.|||You didn't tell us enough about your chargers, but it is not usual for battery chargers to need no current protection. 1.5 amp is a lot of current for a "trickle", so I assume that this is for a gel cell or automotive type wet cell battery. In this case, the current limiting is based on 2 factors. 1, when the battery has been discharged, it has a high effective internal resistance. This internal resistance begins to diminish as it gains a full charge. The resistance of the battery itself limits current. 2. the voltage out from the charger transformer is sized so that it is just about the same as the battery standing potential. as the battery reaches full charge, the current delivered by the charger tapers off appreciably. So these 2 factors mean that for battery charging service, the transformer can be sized to provide a rated current that is at a defined maximum at mid-charge level without special circuitry. If the charger is used for something besides charging batteries, then the amperage delivered is at the mercy of the load.
The other type of "trickle" charger is for nicad type batteries. was an amazing movie do you agree?|||YES, COMPLETELY.|||Didn't suck. I liked it.|||transforrrmer is an static electric machine which converts input voltage/current to another level without changing frequency and power.|||I liked the special effects of the movie. Did not care too much for the story line and the bad acting. I thought Megatron was a gun. Oh well.|||yes, very good.|||I really hate Michael Bay (his movies use all the same tired formulas), but TF was an enjoyable action flick. It was apparent to me that this film was made for the whole family, as there was no sex, blood, swearing or "real" violence. Which is kind of refreshing, but at the same time you wish it wasn't so silly. (The dialogue was goofy and inappropriate during a time when all human life is supposedly in danger. : )
Great voice for Optimus, and cool effects. The first time Barricade transformed from a robot to the police car, everyone in the theater clapped -- it was pretty awesome!
However, I had many gripes about it, mostly Bay's selling out and compromising the creative. Like making Bumblebee a Camaro since they obviously have a product placement deal with Chevy. But c'mon, Bumblebee's a VW BEETLE!! Also, it sucked that Megatron's no longer a gun, and Soundwave was noticeably absent. They made Devastator one small robot (the size of Prime) instead of making him bigger, comprised of the 6 Constructicons.
The little Decepicon robot that kept hacking into systems reminded me of Jar Jar Binks, as in he was pretty annoying. The part where he escaped Air Force 1 was dumb.
I wish they hadn't told the story through the humans' perspective -- the cartoon was always good about that.
Pretty good overall though, I'd recommend it to TF fans.|||The animation of the robots to vehicles and other items was awesome, but the plot was thin and predicatable and athough the actors were good in their roles, but the human characters were not all that likeable.

Now put another coil in the same place as the first (but not connected). The changing magnetic flux induces an EMF in this second coil. If you put in lots and lots of turns in the secondary, you will have a large EMF (and smaller current). If you put in fewer turns (and more in the primary), you will have less EMF and more current in the secondary. So depending on how you build it, you can use this device to step up or step down the voltage between the primary and secondary.|||Electrons flowing in a coil generate an elctromagnetic field. This field can cause the electrons in another coil to strart flowing. It can step down or step up, depending on the number of wraps of wire in each coil.|||As others have pointed out, voltage (electric pressure) applied to a coil of wire causes a current flow which creates a magnetic field (the same thing that magnetics creat to attract iron). In a transformer this field is channeled thru a iron bar about which is coiled another wrap of wire and the field of magnetism will create a voltage in the second coil.

I'm new to the world of transformers ever since I saw the trailer for the movie coming this summer and it got my attention anyone out there know where I can find information on the story, background, characters, episodes of the old tv show anything to help me understand the movie more when it comes out?|||Watching the old shows won't help you a bit in understanding more about the upcoming Transformers movie. It may actually confuse you. The movie is set in its own continuity and is totally unrelated to anything that has come before. There are new charachters, and old ones have been changed significantly.
So basicly, you can go in blind and enjoy the movie without having to know anything about Transformers BUT if you would like some backround, There is a 4-part movie Prequel comic published by IDW that IS set in the movie universe and does give a bit of a backround to the movie. Not required reading, but the closest thing to what you are looking for. Hope this helps.
