What do Transformers look like in their natural alien form?

Transformers are aliens right? Then how did Optimus Prime transform into a truck on Earth that he has never seen before?|||This has been explained back in G1.


They already transform into alien transportation and devices back on Cybertron, and when they go other planets their ships have the ability to give them new alt forms by Transscanning for the most compatible transformation it can find, and the computer rearranges their exo structures to resemble their new earth vehicle modes





In the movies, the robots were given the ability to do it themselves by absorbing nearby material to their bodies and reshaping it. Optimus chose a semi because it resembles his original Cybertronian truck mode, whereas Megatron still retained his original jet mode.


They can change their shapes anytime, like Bumblebee did when he upgraded his vehicle mode in part 1|||The transformers look like multimodular, metal robotic creatures that consists of a multitude of electronic components in their natural alien form.





When the autobots came to Earth, they were near a freeway. They observed multiple vehicles passing and decided to use their natural ability to transform so they can blend in and look like indigenous objects of planet Earth.
