What is the name of the original Transformers show aired on Cartoon Network?

Not the new one Transformers Animated or whatever, the one with a boy, his girlfriend and the little brother. I don't think it was G1 or the Trilogy thing. Sorry this is vague but I would really like to remember the name...|||Transformers Armada?

What exactly causes the phase shift in transformers ?

I know that vector groups basically determine the phase shift, and paralleling two transformers with different phase shifts is a genuine disaster.

Some phase shifts can occur due to difference in the dot place, but for Wye-Delta connection the phase shift is 30 degree even with same dot on the primary and secondary. Why ?|||http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_2/ch…

http://forums.mikeholt.com/showthread.ph…

http://ecmweb.com/ops/electric_basics_tr… says:

"Three-phase transformers.

A basic 3-phase transformer consists of three sets of primary windings, one for each phase, and three sets of secondary windings wound on the same iron core. Separate single-phase transformers can be used and externally interconnected to yield the same results as a 3-phase unit.

The primary windings are connected in one of several ways. The two most common configurations are the delta, in which the polarity end of one winding is connected to the non-polarity end of the next, and the wye, in which all three non-polarity (or polarity) ends are connected together. The secondary windings are connected similarly. This means that a 3-phase transformer can have its primary and secondary windings connected the same (delta-delta or wye-wye), or differently (delta-wye or wye-delta). It's important to remember that the secondary voltage waveforms are in phase with the primary waveforms when the primary and secondary windings are connected the same way. This condition is called “no phase shift.” But when the primary and secondary windings are connected differently, the secondary voltage waveforms will differ from the corresponding primary voltage waveforms by 30 electrical degrees. This is called a 30∞ phase shift. When two transformers are connected in parallel, their phase shifts must be identical; if not, a short circuit will occur when the transformers are energized."|||Starrysk has explained the facts..

Phase shift is a serious matter. If you imagine a heavy table being lifted by four people, you recognize that they have to act synchronously, meaning same time. If one fellow tries lifting while others are idling, he cannot lift and will end up with muscle pull. When you have this at alternating current, or frequency, you have the phenomenon called phase shift. If the voltage induced in one winding is in phase with a voltage induced in another winding, they are in phase. At any time the voltage difference between them will be zero. So connecting them together will cause no problem. Indeed this is the way we want to share the power equally in each.

If they have opposite phase, the voltage difference will be maximum and they will face a short circuit situation. (Like connecting a 9V to another 9V battery, with terminals reversed!!).

Well phase shift can be 0 or 180 or even any value between these two. If there are two ac voltages with phase shift of 1 deg, the effective voltage difference between them will not be zero but

E.sin (1deg). So if they are shorted, additional current will flow but is limited due to finite ,non zero resistances of the sources.

So next time a table is to be lifted, encourage the lifters to be "in phase".

The 30 deg phase shift in Y-delta is incidental, and you have to bear with that. Do not connect their outputs (even if equal in magnitude) to another (say voltage applied to primary) unless you like fireworks. In any industry, that will be your last day.

Combining voltages is done by series addition and not by paralleling. So if you have two secondary outputs which are 180 degree out of phase, you are welsome to add them in series. However the sum will be the vector sum, which is zero. A 230V can be added to 50 V out of phase, to get 180V. You add in phase to get 280V. (See operation of buck boost regulators..). You can add a 90 phase shifted sine with an equal voltage at 0 degress to get 1.414V times a volatge which is at 45 degrees. Again vector sum. In this case of course, the voltage increases, and current is NOT SHARED by the sources. If the current has to be shared, the voltages have to be in phase.

What kind of car is bumblebee in transformers?

I know he is a camaro, but i'm not really sure what year he is. I love old cars (the more beat up the better) and transformers. So i really do love bumblebee. 1) he is a robot 2) he transforms into an retro car with character.|||he started off as a 1976 camero. then he was a 2007 camero. in the new film he was the lasted model.|||In transformers the old version of the car i believe is a 1965 camero but i know forsure the new car is the new 2010 chevy camero.|||2010 camaro|||It's an all-new model I think..|||He wa the 76... now he is the camaro 2ss

Btw the 2ss is below 40 grand :) u should buy one

What are you looking foward to seeing more? Transformers Revenge of the Fallen of Terminator Salvation?

McGee ( director of Terminator 4 ) challenges Michael Bay ( director of transformers 2 ) to a challenge involving which film will do better. i'm personally looking forward to transformers 2 much more than terminator. Especially since terminator has copied transformers 2007 with 'the harvestor' ( looks like a transformer, not a termniator ). i have less respect for t4 now. I will see it no doubt but i still hope mcgee is proven wrong.|||Transformers!!

Although I really like Christian Bale, I've lost interest in the Terminator series.

So Transformesr seems more exciting!!|||http://www.spacestationvideoga鈥?/a>

|||"Terminator Salvation" easily! At first I was mad when I found out they were making more Terminator films, but the trailers I've seen look really good, and Christian Bale is awesome! I can take or leave "Transformers 2." The first film was your typical Michael Bay blockbuster...lots of effects, no plot, weak acting, stock dialogue, ect. I have no reason to think this new one will be any better.|||I myself can't wait for Trasnformers 2, I WANNA SEE it NOW.

but when i look back i think people have not seen Terminator some year and they may be likely to see T4 more than Trans2. but both of them will do good.

We have to See What people want.|||T4 by far! However I'm sort of dissapointed that they aren't using Arnold :( But if it's anything like the last three it's gonna be freakin amazing!!!! But seriously who cares about these two movies when we have New Moon to look forward to??|||Definitely Transformers.

I really liked the last one.

I'm not really that interested in the Terminator movies.|||Terminator. I am a big fan of the movies... I like Christian Bale enough but I was extremely disappointed they aren't using Nick Stahl, I really liked him as John Connor in the last movie...|||I think Transformers looks better. Besides Christian Bale's nose scares me.

How would you make a Transformers cake?

It's my son's birthday 2 days after Christmas. He always just gets a store bought cake as we are always so busy with Christmas. This year I want to surprise him with a really special cake made just for him. He loves transformers - anyone know any good websites with ideas? Bumblebee or even Maximus Prime - or should I do real transformer toys on a destroyed city cake?|||just make him his favorite type of cake and add the transformers stuff on it|||See the fondant autobot symbol cake here.

If Optimus Prime is 25 ft tall, what are all the other transformers compared to him?

I know that different people and different places have various scale sizes of transformers compared to earthly creatures or man made creations, but I would like to know a size chart regarding just the transformers to themselves, does this list even exist, does anyone have a link or picture or other info I could look at?

I'm only guessing his size at 25ft, i don't know, so whatever his actual height he is(or you want it to be), what are the other transformers compared to him.|||I myself have tried looking for Transformers size charts, especially for the G1 versions of the characters. I've found a few scale charts but only like one with definite heights of the characters. Personally I think that few characters have a consistent height considering Transformers has been around for over 20 years and has had many different continuities. Their height/weight and even scale really just depends on the writers and the artists. The only real size chart with heights I know of is one I found on the second Special Features DVD in Revenge of the Fallen. And even then, those sizes are specifically for the live-action Movie universe.|||try checking at hasbro(transformers site)you can even compare the height and the bio of any robots

What is the age rating for Transformers Dark of the moon?

I've been looking at the new Transformers, Dark of the Moon. I would really like to see it. But can anyone tell me what the age rating is for this film in the UK?|||As the movie still hasn't been released im guessing it will be a pg-13 (PG or 12A dependent on where you live) simply because they dont want to lose fans of the previous movies
